Tired of the old noisy after work happy hour? Head down to the Ecology Center to finish off the week with views of the East River as the sun sets and the light turns "magic."
Tonight is Summer Friday fishing and hanging out on the East River with the Ecology Center. Bait, tackle, and refreshments will be provided (or bring your own), plus basic fishing instruction and other activities to explore the estuary and discover the Ecology Center's environmental education and stewardship opportunities.
Enjoy beer from Lagunitas flowing for the night!
Location: East River Park promenade at Grand Street
Check out the Google Map here.
Note: Cars can not enter the park, so expect a 15 - 20 minute walk from the subway. The closest entrance to the park is the pedestrian bridge at Delancey St and the FDR service road.
