Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

Join [wherever]: an out of place journal to learn from and reconstruct travel through the art of collage with vintage travel images from archived National Geographic magazines.

Guided by Beril Gulcan, artist in residence at Pure House, attendees will sift through a vast array of National Geographic magazines, cutting and pasting new landscapes and outdoor scenes together to create something new.

Liz Tokatlilar, [wherever] contributor will assist attendees in creatively assembling collages with travel photographs.

At the end of the session, there will be a presentation of the collages created, and a selection committee from Pure House along with the workshop instructors will collectively decide on which creation will be featured on [wherever] magazine’s social media accounts.

Location: The Kitchen at Pure House 473 Grand StBrooklyn, NY 11211
