Guided Bike Tour up the "Old Put" FILLING

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

NOTE: MTA has cut the #1 train for the weekend above 96th. We will instead be meeting at the end of the #4 Train in Woodlawn.

You must bring your own bike!

Enjoy a day ride on the "Old Put" - an old railroad line in Westchester and the Bronx which is now a beautiful, car-free bike path! Ride up to 28 miles with one of our guides who can tell you more about the history of this rail line. This ride will also be "vehicle supported" meaning that a car will follow the group with water and snacks, and can help any rider who has a breakdown issue with a bike. Please bring your own bike.

BRING: Snacks and water will be provided, but eat lunch first before you arrive. The first segment of the ride is a dirt pathway, so road bikes with skinny tires should exercise caution on this portion of the ride. The ride also ends at the subway station so you can either go back, or have dinner at any of the nearby restaurants. Street parking near the tour start/end is also usually available if you want to drive.

Ride is for beginners + intermediate riders
