Alexander Boll is a Brooklyn based composer and audio engineer with a lifelong passion for photography. Fascinated with the interplay of audio and visuals, especially the way a music score can help guide the interpretation of a film, Alexander began working with film production companies in 2011 to produce both original music and still images. As an on-set photographer, he has captured images to be used in marketing, as well as serving as inspiration for his compositions for film soundtracks. In 2014, while working on Mystic Artists Production’s latest documentary “A Small Good Thing,” he had the opportunity to travel to Rwanda, where he photographed the haunting beauty of the landscape as well as the people.
